The relationship will combine Sprint’s award-winning Global MPLS network and expertise in converged solutions with Tata Communications’ leadership in global Managed Telepresence. Telepresence delivers life-like, high-definition conferencing with superior audio, video and environmental qualities that provide an ideal alternative to traditional face-to-face meetings.
With Tata Communications’ Managed Telepresence, powered by the Sprint Global MPLS network, businesses can further strengthen collaboration between employees, customers and suppliers. They can also simplify, scale and extend communications with a global reach while lowering travel costs and at the same time, reducing their carbon footprint. Sprint’s Telepresence customers will also be able to seamlessly connect to Tata Communications’ Global Meeting Exchange which is one of the broadest public and private Telepresence networks accessible today via a number of inter-connection agreements with other service providers. The Global Meeting Exchange is also a gateway to Tata Communications’ public room network spanning 31 cities across five continents – the largest in the world.
