MOVING FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH: PROCURA’S USA SALES TEAM GROWS

Procura, leading providers of home and community care software, is pleased to welcome two industry sales executives to the USA team, Brian Gray and Ric Downs. As the impact of regulatory changes is felt across home health, Brian and Ric bring to Procura an in-depth understanding of how technology can help agencies meet decreasing reimbursements, regulatory compliance and staffing requirements to remain competitive. “The healthcare system is under great pressure. An aging population and dramatic increases in chronic conditions mean that the importance of the Post-Acute Care industry, specifically Home Health and Hospice, is growing,” says Rebecca MacKinnon, VP of US Sales.

“Newly emerged models of Hospital to Home and Medical Home models are intriguing, and highlight the need for making Homecare a strategic element in the care continuum. With technology providing a competitive differentiator, we are pleased to welcome Brian and Ric to the team. They bring an implicit understanding of the post-acute care model and will work closely with our clients to navigate the ongoing changes.”

Responsible for leading sales in the Southeast, Brian Gray comes to Procura with a very successful sales career in homecare information systems with Cerner. He has worked for over a decade identifying client needs and offering clinical solutions integrated with revenue cycle requirements. Brian brings an in-depth understanding of the Post-Acute Care industry, specifically Home Health and Hospice. Ric Downs, responsible for developing business in the Northeast, has had an extensive career in Oncology and within provider organizations.

His prior role at UPMC provided him a rich experience in the continuum of care in the arena of Oncology Pathways, and the necessary requirements to meet patient needs with strong clinical evidence in a timely and financially appropriate manner. Brian Gray and Ric Downs join Kathy Pruitt who is responsible for the Central territory. The team also leverages the strengths of Loretta Ryan, Product Specialist, Scott Herrmann, Director, Mobile Solutions and the recently appointed VP of US Sales, Rebecca MacKinnon.
