PROCURA EXPANDS MOBILE REACH:  PROCURA MOBILE LAUNCHED ON BLACKBERRY OS7 AND ANDROID OS

Procura announced today that Procura Mobile is now available on BlackBerry OS7 and Android. Support for Apple iOS is planned for late 2012. Designed as a multi-platform mobile solution, Procura provides their home and community care agencies with the flexibility to select the device that matches the needs of their field. Procura Mobile is supported on BlackBerry OS7 as well as the premium BlackBerry Bold 9900 and Bold 9790 devices. The Android release includes support for popular devices, and has been delivered for the Android 2.3 ("Gingerbread") and 4.0 ("Ice Cream Sandwich") versions of the operating system.

Testing for Apple iOS is currently underway and is expected to be released in late 2012. According to the International Data Corp, the combined mobile platforms from Google and Apple currently represent 85% of the global market share. Support of all three platforms paves the way for agencies to take advantage of the emerging "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) trend.
