CellTrak Technologies Inc., the leading provider of mobile solutions for home and community care, home health care and hospice, announced today that they have launched a native mobile application for BlackBerry 10.
This application from CellTrak running on BlackBerry 10 offers home healthcare agencies the secure access to CellTrak’s HealthLink™ data integration server. The new application will be demonstrated at OACCAC in Toronto, Canada June 8th -10th in booth #316. Visit www.oaccac.com for more information. Integrated mobile data management solutions from CellTrak running on BlackBerry 10 are a perfect match for the highly regulated healthcare market place.
The latest BlackBerry app allows for complete care coordination and visit management by home healthcare agencies. Care workers are able to view and update care plans for each patient they meet with, securely and in real time. The app takes advantage of the end-to-end security of BlackBerry 10, allowing for secure messaging and photo capture directly from within the app.
Messaging and photos updated in the app will alert other disciplines to execute and dispatch the level of care needed in real-time. This ensures critical patient updates do not fall through the cracks, leading to better patient outcomes.
“We have many mutual customers in the regulated healthcare industry who need the advanced level of security that only BlackBerry can provide,” said Martyn Mallick, Vice President of Global Alliances and Ecosystem at BlackBerry. “We’re pleased that CellTrak chose to develop a native mobile app to take advantage of BlackBerry’s end-to-end security model and the enhanced productivity functionality of BlackBerry 10.”
The latest BlackBerry app will be offered in conjunction with CellTrak’s latest technology platform which is secure, robust and built on an alert driven workflow engine. Multiple disciplines on a care team can communicate directly and deliver information securely and effortlessly with CellTrak’s HealthCare Team Portal (HCTP). The HCTP allows health care team members access to view their client’s clinical and demographic information all in one central location. Client information is stored securely, and only accessible by approved users via a registered login and password. Alerts are received on the device and also the SaaS based portal for a more efficient management of staff and added referrals.
“We are very excited to launch a new application for BlackBerry 10. Toward the end of 2013 we launched the latest CellTrak Visit Manager™ solution on BlackBerry 7 and had a strong uptick in usage from loyal BlackBerry users across the globe. The new features of BlackBerry 10 combined with the BlackBerry Enterprise Service 10 capabilities enable one of the most robust and secure mobile platforms for use in the healthcare industry,” added Michael K. Wons, President and CEO of CellTrak Technologies, Inc.
CellTrak solutions are used by thousands of agency offices to support the delivery of care services. All products are agency configurable, secure, and compliant. Through mobile tools and solutions offered by CellTrak running on BlackBerry 10, solutions are being implemented today to give agencies real insight and management of staff. CellTrak solutions are breaking through the barriers of paper forms and giving operations real insight into better outcomes for patients in their homes.
